Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is a well-known American actress also known as a producer, director and actress. Her name has been acknowledged for movies like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. Her movie Piano was awarded an Oscar. At a young age her acclaimed actress started playing on stage for various Broadway or Off-Broadway productions. As a child, Helen Keller was her favorite character in a 5th class show. The actress was deaf in one ear due to the mumps virus, however she did not let this disability dampen her determination to become an actress. In her teens, Hunter studied drama and then moved into New York City. She ran into Beth Henley in an elevator and they collaborated to make Broadway Crimes of the Heart the first movie Hunter made. As she relocated into Los Angeles, Hunter tried to land films to play. A supporting role was secured in Swing Shift. Her work spans over 30 years and she's appeared in a variety of TV films as well as series and films. Holly Hunter was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star and the Women in Film Lucy Award.
